What is Mindfulness and Forest Therapy?
Mindfulness exercises can help you feel happier, reduce stress, address anxiety, have a greater awareness of your body and mind, and have a more accurate perception of the world around you by using your senses to absorb your environment. Mindfulness skills are a very important part of treatment used by many therapists and psychiatrists.
Forest Therapy can provide physical, mental, and emotional healing. The exposure to natural tree oils can help lift depression, reduce anxiety and help build immunity.
When grounding, your serotonin levels can be lifted as the soil acts like a natural anti-depressant.
Together Mindfulness and Forest Therapy can help so many that struggle with anxiety, lack of focus, and regulating emotions.
Today’s world can be difficult to manage, especially with the overuse of electronic devices, gaming, and social media. Because of this overuse of screens our attention span has deteriorated along with our mental health. Our youth need to be well equipped to navigate in today’s fast-paced, overwhelming world.
